Dracula: Gifts of a Curse
They made a weapon out of a man who had already done unforgivable things, and then asked him to be merciful with it.
December 2026Three archangels needed a champion the world could survive, and they made him from a prince who had earned every name his enemies called him. They gave him strength enough to stand against the dark, mercy enough to mend what it broke, and a flicker of sight into what was coming. Then they set him down in a frozen country full of people who would fear him long before they thanked him.
He pulls the dark out of the dying one soul at a time. Every soul costs him. And the thing that built the dark is patient, and has been waiting a very long time for exactly the kind of man he used to be.
